Coming up 1 - 9 June 2019 Ten days of summertime immersive bookbinding, comprising four two-day workshops with a mid-point break.
Linkstitch binding class is now fully booked.
Enrolment is flexible on an individual basis: come for just one class; return for another; stay for all...
Book Camp’s founders are bookbinding and book conservation professionals who have established this educational venture as a response to the ever-increasing need for continuing professional development for binders and conservators, in an age when formal learning opportunities are becoming scarce.
By gathering over ten days, we hope that our four intensive workshops held together will benefit those wishing to expand their bookbinding skills and techniques, with participants enjoying a unique experience of learning and exchanging ideas, immersed in the craft. We will share meals (included in the registration fee) and enjoy informal presentations in the evenings, followed by time around the camp fire. On the free day midpoint there will be optional visits to nearby places of special interest. We look forward to seeing you in June!
This class is full.
